30 Jan 2010 Website updated, getting updates, some other cool stuff in the works!
FNF Studios // Denver Colorado // 2010 and beyond Last Updated January 30th 2010

Okay guys, some more funz for the FNF crew (and all our loyal followers too, of course ;)

First off, at least a few of you have contacted me regarding adding a calendar/scheduler of some kind to the website that can be modified by the various DJs/Studio Directors. Your requests have not fallen on deaf ears, I have been looking into a few different ways to do this efficiently, and I'm down to two different programs I'm experimenting with currently (I really like one of them, which is database driven and works very well with my setup, but unfortunately the backend is a little unfriendly, and I'm not sure how well anyone besides me would like a text based interface that requires you to manually insert SQL statements. The other one is much prettier/friendlier, but doesn't provide for a good login method, and uses text files instead of a database, which would make it difficult for me to integrate into the current site design). I am currently experimenting with different configurations to see how I can make this happen best, and of course, I will be sure to let everyone know when that is finished!

On that note, I have also taken the time to set up a webmail system for us (and it is nice, big and extensive, should cater to anyone's personal preferences ;). If anyone would like an @fnfstudios.net email address, please let me know (this is normally where I would post my email address to you, but seriously guys, just call me and let me know. It'll happen faster that way. Also, djtomegun@fnfstudios.net if you still want it ;). Note: it will NOT be possible to send email from fnfstudios.net or fnfstudio.com to any hotmail addresses, or live.com addresses, due to their SPAM filters and the need to set up extensive framework to connect to their servers, and their shit basically just sucks. But outside of those, you can email everywhere else. Again, just drop me a line if you have any questions about it.

Hey all you studio directors, DJs and producers! I have the niftiest system setup on our server now, so when you connect to our radio stream to do a live broadcast, my server will AUTOMATICALLY start recording you, and when you are done with your set (or whenever you change the stream name anyway), it will move your recording into our playlist, so it will automatically start playing on the radio during idle times! I'm also currently working on a system so you can monitor the recording and know exactly when it starts and stops. For more information about this service, please contact me directly (easier to explain in person than over the interwebs ;)

Sorry, I ran out of usable PAGE SPACE! How the hell did I let that happen?

Finally, I just wanted to give a couple of shoutouts: Nikkon has been regularly hitting us up in our IRC channel (chat room), kudos for keeping it alive :). I'd like to shout out to all of theNoize's friends from Entropia who have been listening to the radio stream, we appreciate your support. On January 19th, we had a listener from New Zealand (determined from IP) who connected to our stream for more than 36 hours, so whoever you are, my shout out to you!

As always, if anyone has any other comments or questions or suggestions or harassment, please find one of us in our chat room (Link above, or use irc://irc.cyanide-x.net/#FNF), or else drop me a line using my email link above (hey wait a tick! its linked right here too! go figure!)
